'94 Jaguar-needs work
This car is for sale not far from me. It's a Florida car but needs a head gasket (I6). It is very clean, just needs some touch-up paint work. Burgundy metallic w/cream leather interior.
I can get it for less then a grand. "Probably" $900 or so.
I can replace the head gasket but the head will probably need milling. Easy enough, there is a shop near me that does this stuff.
If I get it and it will be too much to repair the motor I will do an LS swap on it.
I know they are nice cars and I don't think it would be a money pit once the gasket is replaced.
What do you all think?

For 900? I'd be all over that like a duck on a slug! Those are beautiful cars."Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhil

I agree but I just don't need another project. An LS swap would make the car into a runner and be a whole lotta fun with twin electric cutouts and some drag radials...

I tried rubber isolators between the frame and pump, but it made little difference. I don't mind spinning the motor over to refill the carb(s), it allows time to build oil pressure, jmho..
