240Z speedometer cable into a dodge 727 ?
I am finishing my 1973 Datsun 240Z that I put a Mopar 440 duel quad motor and Torqueflite 727. I am looking for input as to how I can hook up a speedometer cable from the trans to the 240Z speedometer, any help would be of great help to me.

Welcome to CHR. Is the speedometer on the 240Z cable driven or electronic?Ryan

Google "GPS speedometer". I think that may be your easiest and cheapest solution. You could use a 727 cable and a 240Z cable and mate them together in the middle, but you would still have to deal with synchronizing the proper speedo cable drive gears at the transmission to show the right road speed for your differential gears and tire size.

Another vote for GPS, I have Speedhut Gauge set with GPS, it has very good reviews. PS, it's not nice to tell us what you have and not show picsSeth
