Help finding fuel guage.
I'm collecting parts to build a new gauge cluster for one of the cars. I thought it would be pretty straight forward until I started looking for a 1-1/2" fuel gauge. The gauge I am hunting for is a white face (w/chrome bezel) 1-1/2" gauge. The old Sunpro and Bosch number CP8109.
During my search I found out that Sunpro got sold to Bosch who is apparently owned by another parent company. I ended up calling Bosch this morning and found out they had discontinued their 1 1/2" fuel gauges and had no plans to produce them any more even in their Equus line (which is apparently the replacement for Sunpro.
That pretty much leaves me trying to find anyone who still has a CP8109 still on the shelf. I've already check the usual places; Jegs, Summit, Rock Auto, Amazon, E bay, Speedway, and a couple of airplane and boat parts suppliers. Anybody have a lead on any other place I could check?

Mike, I went to a swap last year in Springfield MO and a vendor had tons of Sunpro gauges as they discontinued them, they are out there! I am heading to the NSRA show there this weekend and if I see them in the vendor section I will contact you, PM your cell number and I will text you with a pic and price if I come across the guy again. Thanks Matt PM sent.
Glenn thanks, I'd found that vendor too. When I tried to order it however it comes up as "out of stock". So I'm still looking.

Mike, I found your gauge vendor at the swap meet today, Jebs Automotive in Parma Ohio, JEB1431@yahoo.com or phone number is 440-429-2507 he bought out the entire Sunpro line, has a ton in stock still, oh yeah I think your gauge was just 10 bucks. It took long enough but I hope it helps! MattWhy is mine so big and yours so small, Chrysler FirePower

Thanks so much Matt. I'm still searching for one and will be contacting him today.
Thanks Denny. Those turned out to be rabbit holes . I've been actively hunting for the gauge for over a year now, and have run into a few of those sites. You get all the way to the checkout and find out it's no longer available then get directed to something similar.

Mike, If I would have remembered what you needed I would have grabbed it, Most all of those he has for 10 each in black or white, I bought a boost gauge for 10 as well, if that ends up being a LAN line number give him a few days as he is at the swap meet in Springfield MO, but I think he will have your gauge. Thanks again Denny. I’m looking at redoing the gauge cluster in my 83 El Camino. When I originally built it I managed to track down a Monte Carlo SS gauge cluster.

Like a lot of the factory gauges of that era the accuracy leave a bit to be desired and a while back the speedometer started to fluctuate above 75-80MPH. When the speedometer started it’s antics I figured I’d just go ahead and redo everything as the white face gauges are easier for me to read at night.
I want to set up the new cluster in the same configuration as the factory gauges which are 1-1/2". There is just not enough room in the cluster to get four 2” gauges in it.
I’ve already got all the other gauges and a spare housing, cluster, lens etc, I’m just can’t track down the fuel gauge.
