Can't say on here what we called Pontiacs... wouldn't be PC.

Anyway, keep up on the hunt and it's cool that you want to restore the car. It'll keep some memories alive and help make more with your own children.
Does it start out poor old..........................................

A truck driver that I used to work on his rig all the time used to have the funniest saying for Internationals. 13 letter sh*t spreaders.

Those Skylards get a bad rap but I remember that GS400 beat several cars back when Dad was still driving it. It whipped my Uncle's 63 Vette, a Porsche 911, my old boss's 69 GTO Ram Air, and his 67 Chevelle SS396. The old Skylard just had a 400 with a stage 1 cam in it. Everything else stock. That car had the factory 14" rally wheels on it and they have a poor bead design similar to a 16.5. That car would spin the tires right off the wheels. It sure was fun though. I hope I can salvage the cam out of the engine as the engine is stuck. I doubt it though. I have a 455 for it as well as a numbers matching 400 and 69 Stage 1 heads for what ever engine I use. I really could tick the Buick guys off and put a LS in it.
