Drum Brake to Disc Brake Conversion
Hello all,
I just recently purchased a 76' Buick Riviera and am wanting to customize it. I noticed after I bought the car that the rear brakes are drum brakes and that they need to be changed to disc. I have tried looking through numerous sites for a conversion kit for my car and there doesn't seem to be any for my specific year and model. I also noticed that the 72' Buick Skylark uses drum brakes also and has a conversion kit to disc brakes. I would like to get this conversion kit and install it on my care but I can't find the specs on the brake set up for either car. Has anyone done a conversion like this, or an an actual conversion with a Skylark or Riviera?
Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

The rear drums are quite adequately engineered.
Some high performance shoes would probably give an equal performance upgrade..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
