    metallic will shoot through a 1.4 just fine. any metal flake needs a big gun .

    I guess I've been spoiled. My "counter guy" owns the store, is the second generation owner with over 50 years experience and does high buck custom painting as his spare time job. He knows more about paint products and spray techniques than the reps that call on him.
