What can you do to take some of the vibration out of the hood. Shake pretty good going down the road

Start with the basics like tire balancing, check for bent or out of round wheel, worn u-joints, suspension wear.1 Corinthians 1:27

Is it just the hood? Or the whole front end?
If it's only the hood check to see if the rubber "bumpers" are in place and are making contact to hold the hood steady, not allowing it to sway / move freely.
If it's the whole font end, then you'll need to investigate the components mention previously to my post. Even the kingpins / ball joints, any bushings in the mounts will be suspect until you can verify they are in good order.

On my 72 the hood shook pretty good when I first started driving it. I put the hood guide rubber bumpers on the fenders and it stopped doing it.Ryan
