    Question firebird clutch

     



    Hello My son has an 84 firebird we swapped the v6 for a small block 400, we bought a different tranny supposed to be for a v8 but it has the 1" 14 spline input has any one ever seen one in a v8 and if so where can you find a clutch for it thanks

    All of the 4 speed manuals used 26 or 10 spline input shafts. The 10 spline was a heavier duty unit. 1" seems small for a v8.
