That's neat. First truck I remember on the farm was a 49 Dodge 1/2 ton Dad bought new.
Picture of the wheels looks like it could have been taken in my shop a couple of years ago. Pretty much the same wheels I'm running on the 37 with the same red primer
.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

I know; I'm sure the itch will get the best of me at some point. But I'd better do one of mama's projects and put new siding on the house first. It's her turn for some new goodies.1 Corinthians 1:27

The itch got the best of me. Time for some steering and brake upgrades. I found this donor truck; planning a front frame stub swap and rear end swap. I’m keeping the flathead; it runs too good to change it.1 Corinthians 1:27

Before you cut it up, you might want to think about a complete frame swap. From what I've read, it's almost a bolt on with the older pilothouse Dodge's. Yours could be different though.Seth

Yeah, I don’t think it will work with the service bed. The Dakota frame has a kick up in the rear that would mean having to cut out the back half of the service bed floor and raise it. Good thought, though1 Corinthians 1:27

That Dodge needs a HEMIBy popular opinions-just a grumpy old man key board bully--But really, if you are going to ask for help on an internet site, at least answer questions about what you are asking about-----
