55 disc brake conversion
Does anyone know is there a vehicle that I can go into a parts store and tell them I need the complete disc brake assembly for that will bolt on without problems to a 55 chevy belaire. I heard like a 72 chevelle 11" rotors will work but i want a complete power brake conversion kit that won't cost me $1000.00 that if possible will bolt up without to much problem.

You can make your own kit by buying the caliper brackets from one of the tri-5 vendors and then buying the other componets locally. Below is a list of parts that were part of a thread couple of years ago here:

Bought at Autozone in March 2001:
Rotors 5514 502 $59.99ea.
Calipers 208785 C161 $ 9.99ea. ($10.00 core charge)
Bearings (Set- 2) 693028 $ 5.99/set (2 sets required)

For sure!! I recall Jim's torsion bar suspension on at least one of his builds, but I'm not sure which one! Maybe the Track T?? He's a talented builder.
