    Holley 750 mechanical secondaries

    I have a problem with my carb its hard to to open the secondaries without pushing my foot hard on pedal. i have bent two pedals . Now i remember after we put supercharger on that a mate set up the carby . he changed something to make it harder to push the secondaries until i got used to driving it on the street. this was years ago now.

    You might want to check the secondary linkage for binding and see what he put on it for a secondary return spring. If anything looks bent, twisted, or just wrong Holley sells all the replacement bits and pieces to make things right.

    JMHO, but we're flying blind, hard to help without more info & a few pictures;
    1). How does the throttle connect to the carb, cable or linkage?
    2). Pictures of the carb and its linkages.
    3). Pictures of the throttle linkage connecting to the carb.
    And any other info you can think of that might help us help you.

    My first thought, like Mike's was "Ask your mate what he did to your carby." Next was like 36 sedan, show us what you've got! Unless you post some pictures and explain your linkage and modifications we're tossing darts in the dark, little chance of helping you at all.
