Seems like we must all be out working on our cars?

I realized that I've only had the coupe out for a ride once this year..

Covid and work seem to have ground me to a stop! A poor excuse?
the farm has kept me a bit busier too.. todays excitement ??? find out why the zero turn mower won't run. it's reported that the elderly owner topped off the GAS tank with DIESEL... we'll see.

    That's my story. What's yours?

trying to get the place ready for winter and to put on the market . 23 years of hoarding is tuff to get rid of . my junk hauler passed away .
will decide after jan what i'm going to do next . may sell all the fleetlines and the falcon . just not sure i can pull off another build . will just buy something already built .

we've pretty much had enough of the china virus around here . only 13 reported deaths since jan and they are suspect . everything is open and very few mask seen .

Blocking the body on the roadster a few days back & found the gelcoat pinholed on one quarter. Nothing deep, just need to work down the spot putty now and look for more before moving on looking for flaws before prime. Windy here today!

I had the inside brake pad on the right rear of the Vette come apart which ruined the rotor. Might as well replace both sides and rebuild the emergency brakes while I"m at it. Waiting for parts to come in.

We're getting ready to head up to the Badlands right now to get our Polaris Ranger that we left up there when Rita's tranny was giving problems. I seen on the Deadwood street cam that it is snowing there right now.

Great Pics GS, thanks for sharing them. I was there several year back. And thank to everyone for sharing! Chris and I will be retiring to southern New Mexico, so I am also thinking about what to take / what to get rid of... And while my machinery list isn't as big as Jerry's.. there's going to be a few trips back and forth to get it there.

The good news was the mower didn't have the wrong fuel in it, someone must've left the key on as the battery was totally flat. So I jumped it and ran it, then put the charger on it for the remainder of the day. The battery was new at the beginning of the summer, so it should be fine. And I didn't come home smelling like a filling station! All Good!

Today I took a look inside an original 1965 Fender Pro Reverb amp that’s been untouched since bought, stored away. The original owner even kept the original purchase receipt and passed it on to the present owner. New owner states it just doesn’t sound right, has a lot of noise and the vibrato doesn’t work. So I got a peek into a time capsule from 1965.
Dried out electrolytic capacitors I expected to find. What I wasn't expecting to find was a wire completely disconnected from the board due to a cold solder joint, another wire barely connected with a cold solder joint and a resistor not connected at one end (again a cold solder joint), at least not in 1965.

PLEASE DO NOT FOOL AROUND IN TUBE AMPS (OR ANY ELECTRONICS/ELECTRICAL) WITHOUT PROPER KNOWLEDGE/TRAINING!
