    Needing Info on engine

So I have this Buick 425 Nailhead and I was just wondering if the ol' geezers on CHR could direct me to some info on this old beast. Also if they have any tips on what I should possibly do or where to find parts for a classy act such as this one. Thanks

I ran C-Gas in 1964 with 425 Nailhead in a1956 Ford. They need head work and better oiling in the valve train. They make lots of torque.

the buick nailhead engines were horrible at making HP due to the tiny valves. The best route for this engine would be to get a set of performer heads and I personally dont know about any oiling problems, but a high-flow oil pump never hurts. Hope this helps.

Ohhhh good stuff guys! I knew you could pull through for me. I have one laying around and wasn't too sure if I should attempt something with it. I had heard in one place that they were pretty decent for torque. Thanks for the info, it'll take me a good week to go over all those links!
I'd rather go fast than worry about the gas mileage.
