Don’t know if this will do you any good Pat but this is what I did on the satellite radio in the 57.

A few more details: I cut the power and antenna wires and spliced connectors on them at the back of the ashtray so that when the ashtray is pulled out it can be disconnected and put in the glovebox and the original ashtray put back in the dash.

The antenna that came with the docking station has a magnetic base and is designed to stick on the roof. I elected to install mine on the package tray under the rear glass inside the car instead. My back glass is at a pretty good angle so where it’s at it gets a good “view” of the sky and I don’t have any problems with the signal dropping out. It’s held in place with a couple pieces of Velcro. It was a PIA to run the antenna to the back of the car but it turned out to be a pretty clean installation.
