    Ford charging harness

I finally got my wiring harness for my 47 Ford. The engine steering column and whatnot are all late 70s early 80s Ford. For the charging harness were they all basically the same setup/interchangeable?

I've done two, one with the American Autowire harness/fuseblock and one with the EZ Wiring harness/fuseblock. As I recall both of them had only two options, Ford or GM for the charging circuits which points to them being pretty generic, and the printed instructions were quite clear and easy to follow.

    Whose harness are you using?

I'm using the Haywire E series harness.
I've been watching the junkyards for 70s FoMoCos what I'm thinking is if I pulled the charging harness from a 70s T-Bird, or Lincoln etc are they all interchangeable? The alternator and Duraspark I have are from a late 70s T-bird but the wiring is pretty suspicious.
I know I'm probably overthinking it

Your Haywire E series wiring kit will have everything you need to wire the car, including the alternator & ignition.
