How simple can you get?
Why didn't I think of that?
I've got a tractor that has needed adjustment for quite some time and I've kept putting it off.
So the next rainy day I know what I'm going to do...johnboy

toe needs to be set at the tread center.

"......toe needs to be set at the tread center......"
Yup and with something with independent suspension the weight of the car needs to be on it and preferable on turntables that allow the suspension to rest as it would going down the road.
.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

changing tire size changes toe also.

For sure on changing tire size affecting toe. As for the tread center, toe is a differential measurement, comparing front of tire to rear of tire. If we assume a 6" wide tread, the differential front to rear will be the same for the inside, outside and center of tread, seems to me. Different overall numbers, inside to outside, but equal differential. The IFS, and having it loaded is another issue that throws a wrench in the works.
The picture sure made it look like an easy way to attack the problem!!Roger

i spin the wheel and mark center, then set it back down. i have 2 pieces of smooth tin i set the tires on so i can turn side to side to check it. real easy to get off when dealing with 1/4 inch.
