engine swap on 1968 camaro
Hi I'am a new member looking for some info. Trying to swap a 396 chevy into my 1968 camaro but the exhaust manifold is hitting on the streering gear box wich in turn is pushing the tranny towards the pass. side of car. I have the correct manifold,
motor & frame mounts. Need some help please.

I've heard of brake booster getting in the way of the valve cover, but not a problem with the exhaust manifold. Is the manifols off a camaro or something else. Might have to just put headers on it like Viking suggested."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
