Bubbling Noise.
as you may have guessed I am quite a noob when it comes to the engine in particular. But with everything, its all a learning process. First off my car is a 91 Chev Cavalier, now my question is? "After turning my car on, or driving around, every single time I turn it back off lately I begin hearing a bublling noise like air bubbling through liquid. At first I though maybe its just the gas swishing around in the tank, but now I believe it is simply air in the "coolant" lines...if that makes sense. Is this at all a serious problem or is it a simple fix. Could it be just a simple tightening of a few hoses? I have checked the "rad cap and the seal seems perfect". Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hy everybody, just an update on my Cavvy, turns out the bubbling noise is either a cylinder head gasket needing to be replaced, or a crack in the cylnder head. I think if it turns out that there is a crack in the cylinder head, it might be the end of the Cavalier. The little 2.2l do have over 200K on it, so I doubt it can take much more. We'll see.
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
