fule lines for my 65 nova

    Hello all,

I just found this site and hopefull someone can help me with a couple things.

I recently bought a 65 nova that has a 350 installed. The car originally had a straight 6 in it and i'm not sure if the fuel lines are large enough to feed a V-8..........anyone have some thoughts?

    thanks..

As long as the lines are not all rusted, they should be fine. Now if you are talking about a big HP motor with fuel injection, make sure you have a return line.

A 3/8 line should work for most any street application. The return line depends on what fuel pump you are using and the venting of your gas tank.

Here is a question for ya... If the fuel pump (TPI in the tank) has a 1/4" outlet, should you still run 3/8" lines? Seems like they would be bigger than necessary. Suggestions?

You should be OK with the 3/8 lines. You still need to run a return line. The gas needs to make a big circle to keep enough fuel available for the TPI.

As far as fuel lines go, you are not going to pump more than your pump is capable of. As long as your outlet will hook onto the 3/8 line, your in agood shape.
