starting question
I went to start the car this afternoon (cold) and when I turned the key it started to turn over but didn't catch. Tried it again and nothing! Just a click everytime I turned the key. Now I realize that it could be a bad battery but the interior lights are fine. It had done this once before.
I did notice that a few times before when starting it that when it didn't catch at first and i stopped turning the key I heard a winding sound that went on for 5 seconds. Thought maybe starter or distributor. Would that indicate a lumming problem or is that pretty normal?
I know I can rely on you guys to put me in the right direction, so commence with the tech talk. I'm listening."Now bring me those cheese sandwich appetizers you talked me out of."
