    need ideas on throttle pedal clearance

     



    hello all, i am new to the club but, i have enoyed what i have been learning from you all.

    i have a 62 nova that i have dropped a 350 sbc engine in. i now do not have enough space between my firewall and the engine to get the full use of my gas pedal. someone has had to have gone through this before so could you please provide me with a few suggestions? thx in advance.

    Get a later model pedal & throttle cable assembly from the local salvage yard.

    Thanks all,

    I will head to the salvage yard today. let you know how it works out.

    Just a side note...
    After about three weeks of reading various posts out here and talking with a few friends I have successfully taken a 350 sbc from one car and made a few changes (major to me and minor to some of you) and started that sucker up in my 62 nova for the first time last nite. OHHH WHAT A FEELING....

    Ain't nuthin to it but to do it !!!!
    Be sure and get the bracket off the intake manifild for that throttle assembly.......
