Question for Uncle Bob
Bob You being a mopar man and I'll admit I had a few myself, I was wondering what problems a 360 would be putting it in my 37. Do they make and adapter to fit a 350 tanny and would I have to make my own motor and tranny mounts? I still have that 360 out of a wrecked 78 Lil Red Wagon.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Everybody here is a Mopar man, THEY just won't admit it!!
I'm not aware of any trans adapter, probably because both the 727 and the 904 are at least as good, maybe better than the 350th. Yeah, you'll probably have to make your own mounts, but that's pretty straight forward fab stuff. A Mopar powered Chevy...........that ought to get the "different" boys goin'.
One serious consideration though, when the day comes to sell the car you'll get punished more than the amount you're saving using what ya got. But it is your call.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

the 904 was behind the AMC360, so it will take a lot of abuse. After all, the 360 was in the Grand wagoneer. That jeep was huge.Right engine, Wrong Wheels
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
