Backfiring
Hi , i changed my tranny lines cause they were leaking. To get at them, i took off one of the headers. Finished with the lines hooked back up the exaust, reconnected the spark plug wires. I marked them all down so i wouldnt mix up the firing order. Started it up and it has a backfire just after it starts up and if you were to rev the engine a bit it would back fire again after you let off. i didnt screw around with anything else when i changed the lines and before i did that it was running fine. im still pretty new at this and would greatly appretiate some help. oh its a 305, 2bbl duel exaust. not knowing weather or not it will wreck stuff i shut it off after that and left. Will it work it self out or am i not so lucky.
THx

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
