This is what I've got (minus the air ride). I've been told that the large calipers will hit the air bags. Is this true? Any major brake performance loss from going to the later "metric" Camaro calipers?

I want to put air ride on my car but I've got to get this sorted out first.

    Kenny,

I'm using a Fatman's crossmember in my '36 Chevy. I have stock and 2" drop spindles available. Even Darren @ ART (in their forum at www.ridetech.com) said they'd had instances of calipers rubbing with 11" rotors (I assume they meant calipers as a result of the rotors). ART thread below:

    http://www.ridetech.com/forum/tm.asp...mode=1&s=#4341

I'm dead set on laying frame (or in this case, grille shell
) with this car, so it WILL be 'bagged. Have you installed any with the actual setup I described?

BTW, how much travel can I expect in the front? I'm thinking the drop spindles maybe a waste. Your opinion?
