    Brakel / Turn Signal installation

What is the best way to install turn signal lights to brake/tail lights only vehicles?
I tried the Signal Dynamics black box that seperates and over rides the brake light when the TS is used, but for some reason it didn't work right.
I'm not a big fan of installing another set of lights on the bumper or cutting new ones in.
Any other makers of such a device?

All you need is a GM 1157 bulb. It will handle turn, brake and tail lights. You'll have to change the socket and add a wire for the turn signals, but that's not too diffcult.

Thanks Henry. I have already re-wired the car.
I take it this triple element bulb has a three different wattage elements for different brightness? I should be able to change out the socket without too much work.

No, it only has two elements. One element gets brighter when the brakes are applied.

    Okay confused now...
I'm going to have one element for the running/tail lights, and one element for the brake light which will also double as the turn indicator?
I've got a dual element bulb in there now but I need one for the turn indicator which should be seperate from the brake for flashing purposes.
