Yeah I was or am kind of the same way with certain things like drums and all because I think that the people will think I am an idiot or something and I know kids that will just bag on you if you ask questions like that.... I realized that it doesn't matter anymore because everyone started out not knowing nothing or not much at all and asked questions too.

I agree completley with that drg..i think had had a colection of Car Craft&Hot Rod mags that was taller than i was by the time i actually got my first car.

Read everything you can and ask as many questions as you can and you'll be way ahead of the game FMX when you get the car you've always wanted.

About the mags.... I have huge boxes filled with just hot rod magazines and a few harley and chopper mags, tons of dirt bike ones, etc. You are right about those hot rod mags though, I do this sometimes where I take out the pages where they show you to do stuff and I am going to do that maybe today if I can and tear all that stuff out nice and neat and put it together in a binder or something. I got this little engine building book that U Hot Rod Tech. Inst. gave me and it shows you mostly everything on how to build an engine.... Doesn't go in deep detail and skips little stuff but still helps a bit. I wan't to find something that shows you every detail because I forget where to use oil and things like that and what the stuff you put on the gasket on the oil pan is and what kind of greases, oils, etc you need. I know I have built about 2 engines before but it was in groups and I wasn't able to do everything myself and too many people around to see so it sucked. I have watched my dad work on his old truck with a 350 in it a long time ago when I was a kid and watch him do some transmission work and change a manual over to a automatic.....

That's a good idea too, I might just put them all in a 3 ring binder though and have everything together. I don't know I will decide tonight because I feel like doing that tonight now. Thanks for the idea.
