Hmm... Not trying to high-jack your thread but..

Has anyone ever used that Eastwood powder-coating kit?

If you use yellow, will it taste like lemon? Cause I like lemon flavored cake.

Will I still be living when you get this kit? lol Just messing. I was looking at that kit but there is a much cheaper one at Caswell.com and everyone tells me that it works really good. I don't wan't to buy a cheap one so tell me what you guy's think of this puppy. www.caswell.com then go to the powder coating link at the top.

Eastwood offers two grades of home powder coating guns. If you buy the cheap one you will wish you bought the more expensive one. You can get good results with the Eastwood system but it is only efficient for small stuff. The lamps they sell for cooking big stuff are tricky to use.

Caswells gun is cheap but works well I hear. I have been talking to people that have it and they said it works great on smaller and bigger stuff. I am going to be making my own oven and bead blaster, etc on my own instead of buying them too. The lamps you are talking about aren't as good for curing, etc because it's not going to get as hot as fast, and to help the rays out you need some mirrors. I have a thing someone sent me that uses a Propane heater and mirrors and works better than the lamps. If you wan't that then let me know and I will find the material list really quick.
