My projects have been on the back burner lately........
been doing stuff around the house and dealing with some personal probs.

........but, I did manage to install a new set of H&R progressive rate springs on my 92 500e this week. I also eliminated the factory "self levelling" rear suspension, and lowered the car an inch.

I'm in the middle of restoring an original AMG "hammer" (one of only 13 cars in existance), and hope to have the engine/trans back in it in the next 60 days. If all goes well, it will also be getting a complete jet hot coated "oval" exhaust system with an X-pipe and a 100 shot nitrous system.

Once the "hammer" is done, I will be able to get back on the GT40 project. Sadly, I have not been able to work on it since last July. Things are looking up for me now, so I hope to be finishing the plumbing & wiring on it, so I can move onto making the "bundle of snakes" headers this summer.
I still have a ton of work to do on the car, but I know it will be worth it when it's finally done.
I betcha I'm going to have more hours in finishing the exhaust in this car, than it took to build my first cobra replica!,,,,,but hey, building it is half the fun!

I've still been thinking about doing a low-buck street rod next, (father/daughter project) but for now, I have plenty to keep me both broke and busy.
