    Hard Starting

I have a '84 Z28 (now has a 350 in it). It all of a sudden is giving me grief. I can get it running and it sounds great sometimes, others, its real hard starting and when I do get it running I need to reset the timing. Last night everything was cool but today it won't start at all. And I mean not at all. Its making me crazy! Someone please help. :-)

The distrb isn't moving but I will dbl check that again anyway. I don't know how many miles on t.chain cuz I purchased this motor from an eng. salv. place. It was running great for 3 mos. and the trans went out. (I know it was going) I just replaced the motor and just didn't feel like digging in again so I asked someone I knew to do it (for $300.) He dicked around so long and left the car on the street it got stolen. I just recovered it. None of the vac. was connected, they were trying to hook up the smog stuff. (Calif) So I have this '84 Camaro with a 350, the carb is from an '86 something so there really isn't any book to ref. The guy finely put the trans in (for the people who tried to steal it) and its a little dfferant. Newer modle, I'm not sure yet cuz I haven't been able to I.D. it yet. I'm thinking I'm going to have to get the emmision stuff right. If you got anythingon that I'd love to hear it. Thanks
