I dont even know about my 53 ferd pick-em-up. I started her, installed a 65 galaxie clip to lower it, started to channel her, got rid of the glass in preparation for the chop, made new brackets to mount the falcon bench seat and have realized the bed is just too far gone to be saved. Well she would at least be drivable if I could reconnect the steering column and get the driveshaft cut down.
I think im just going to bag her for winter, im tired of it and it will be a someday project."its better to rule in hell, than serve in heaven."

got the motor in the jeep yesterday and running. Except to stop for a beer break - only 1 beer - it took about 6 hours. WAY too long in my book, but the clock, she don't lie.
So this project is going on 3 weeks...and a drive around the yard revealed - no brakes. Well...no back brakes. I am at the point of thrwoing money at it - a wheel cylinder (broken bleeder) and aline - it wll never come off you know. Then I hope that is it for now....well, this month.
It may never be 'done', but it wil be useable.Chris
