any OLD MOPAR gurus here, need brake & u-joint info
i'm getting a 50 dodge car but want to get rid of those funky ass brakes they have (kinda like HUCK brakes), i'm going to change the rearend so thats not a problem, but the fronts will be... is there anything that will swap so i can put later model front drum brakes on this thing & i dont need disc brakes either since i'll be running the stock flathead mtr & tranny.
also how do ya swap out those wierd looking u-joints they have("Ball and Pin" type) & use the later model joints on them. i know i'll need a drive shaft made for it BUT i want to get rid of those Ball and Pin joints since the cost $150 EACH...... can anyone give me some help here or direct me to a site that can help me.....thanks.....joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE
