    Question Bad Car Waxing?

My friend waxed her old car in the sun and forgot to take the wax off and now the dark blue paint job is a pale blueish white color, very ugly. what to do to fix this problem?? it's been like that for 2 weeks now??

I am assuming the pale blueish color is because there is still wax left on the car that will not wipe off? My only suggestion would be to pickup a Clay Bar Kit at your local auto parts store and take all the wax back off. Read the directions and don't drop the Clay Bar on the ground. It comes with a lubicant that you must use to keep from damaging the paint. This should take the old wax off down to the clear coat but you will then have to rewax the car the proper way. Hope it works?

Can't you just wax it again? The new wax should cut the old wax. Can't say I've ever done a 2 week wax jog B 4 so that's just a guess.

How about wipen her down with gas and lightn a match. Thata way you dont have to wiper off at all. Just be sure to stand real close when you light it so the wind dont blow the match out

Try a wax & grease remover that painters use to clean the car prior to painting. I use ppg's DX-330.......Don

Stand by the car with a rag in your hand.

hey has anyone suggested to try a high speed buffer if you dont have one you can rent it . your people did nt wipe all the wax off and now its baked on its going to be a bitch get off but it will take a buffer or alot of elbow greace or you might try 1000 grit wet sand but I wouldnt suggest it unless you,ve done it before other then that lots a luck
