H.E.I. power switch
I just put a H.E.I. in my brothers 66 Catalina and I don't know which wire to put it on so that it will have a constant 12 volts. What wire do I hook it to??Gerig Michael H.

well the real way is to replace the fesistance wire under the dash, it goes from the ignition switch to the connection between the firewall and it looks different from the other wires as it is insulated by wax paper looking stuff, with a 12 ga. wire. But I broke the pin for it so I had to improvise. I had to wire it between two different terminals on the ignition and ran the wire straight to the coil until I can get another pin for the proper way. I've heard that it is a different process on cars that hav the ignition in the steering columnGerig Michael H.
