in-line efi pumps
is it possible to put a inline pump in without removing the tank pump that has failed?not that you have too much cam just not enough motor

What's it gonna hurt to try it, all u'd have to do is remove the tank pump if it didn't work and it seems like it should.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

That would make the inline pump have to suck the fuel through the existing pump in the tank. Would probably restrict the flow considerably. Why not just drop the tank and replace the pump it has?Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Chances are, No. GM likes to mount its pumps straight up and down in the dead center of the tank. Its probably easier just to drop it.Right engine, Wrong Wheels

$300 was holding me back
thanks guys for the info.i wound up buying the replacement pump and dropping the tank wasnt to bad,but the pinch and pull fittings are hard to get to when your on your back.not that you have too much cam just not enough motor
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
