0lds power
Does anyone know anything about the olds 403. It is a pretty neat mill. Although the it was impeded by emissions, it seems to have great potential for some serious horsepower. I has a 4.3 inch bore and a 3.3 inch stroke, so it'll really wrap! Does anyone know if '69 455 heads will bolt on? Its a long shot, but may be worth a try. Just an idea. Also, has anyone ever seen a huge car spank ricers on the street? It is truly inspiring. The 403 is in a '77 Olds 98 and I can't hardly believe how fast it is. Recently a new Eagle Talon buzzed up beside my friend and I and then proceded to give 'er hell. My friend opened up the fours and grabbed first (road gears and short stroke allow approx 60mph in 1st) and that poor plastic Talon got its doors BLOWN off by a 4000 lb hunk of American steel. I can't understand how that motor makes that much torque with weight, gears, and short stroke working against it. I guess next time that Talon will have to burn wild rice to have a chance!

Perhaps an Eagle Talon is not technically rice, but its as good as any!
Getting closer on this project. What a lot of work!
