roadster pickup update
Wow, things are really starting to cook, progress wise on the roadster pickup chassis. I was off work this past week, so managed to do the final welding and grinding on my modified 31 model A frame, and painted it on Friday morning. It is setting outside the garage now, on the worlds ugliest frame rotisserie (made from my engine stand and a bunch of stuff out of my scrap bin).---My good wife was studying today for her university course, so I spent the day sanding and sandblasting 4-bars, front axle, steering box, and about 25 other associated chassis parts.----there is so much moisture in my garage that everything has a patina of rust, developed over the past 6 months. (of course it rained darn near every day this summer in my part of Ontario, Canada). Last night there was frost, and tonite they're calling for frost, but its supposed to warm up here on Tuesday, so all the stuff I sandblasted today will set under a heat lamp to keep the moisture off it untill I can spray it on Tuesday. The fenders and splash aprons are all primed and blocked, and stored in my basement, the new metal bed section I built is setting in the corner of my home office, and the metal cab section is about 5 miles away at the bodyshop, getting the final bondo work finished.---if things continue at this rate, and my arthritis don't kill me, I might actually have this sucker all assembled in primer before the real cold weather gets here.Old guy hot rodder

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
