    Engine swap

Anybody have info on swaping a V-6 in a S-10 chassis to a 350? I need to know if there is an easy way or is it a real pain! I found a 40 Ford sedan on a S-10 chassis and if it's easy enough to swap the motor, trans and rear. I might buy the car. Thanks!

    Engine swap

Thanks! When you did the swap what trans and rear did you use? Or did you just keep what was in there? I'm afraid the 350 will beat the trans and rear to pieces.

I took a LT1 out of a 1993 trans am and used the motor and 700R4 trans. put a pos. track in the stock S10 DIF. (it had a 410 grar in it) and its been doing fine. the trans is the weak link. thats with everything being stock. the only reason i used the 700r4 was for the overdrive. other wise i would have used a 350 or 400.
