    1986 Buick Frame

    Hi,
My son has a 1986 Buick Regal which has a full frame and the left rear portion of the frame is rusted out.I am looking for another frame. Are there any other GM products besides the Regal that would have the same frame?
    Thanks, Barry

Yes barry there is. Mind if I substitute a section?Hi,
My son has a 1982 Cutlass supreme which has a full frame and the left rear portion of the frame is rusted out.I am looking for another frame. Are there any other GM products besides the Cutlass that would have the same frame?

The problem Barry, is that most of the GMs from that Era have the frame bow out right behind the rear tire. As such, they are susceptable to rust. My advice would be to find some Square Tube steel and bend it to match, then weld it in place. If its the same scenario as mine, chances are that its just under the trunk.
