My daughter gave me some stuff to soak up a spill in the shop. She said it was kitty litter but it had some big lumps in it that looked like almond rocca. Not very tasty but it sure absorbed the spill.

Thanks Allen!
Sealing the floor is a good tip!
Right now I'm still in the middle of some construction so the home brew Floor sweep compound is doing the trick.
Once the construction is done, then I need to consider my options for the floors.
Still tryin' to decide whether to paint, epoxy, vinyl tile or maybe even ceramic/quarry tile.
I would hate to put something on now that would inhibit good adhesion for what might lie ahead.
Unfortunately the floors have some cracks and lots of patches that I would like to cover.
OIL DRI? Maybe that should be another thread... (I hate It when a thread goes "Off Topic")
I use a mix of sawdust and portland cement

Hey csf,
Can you use "floor dry" to soak up spills in a "Cat House"?
