    Brake kits

www.P-S-T.com has a brake kit in here that is from G Max and it has 12" gas slotted rotors, power booster, master cylinder, valves, the whole nine yards and it's the level 4 one that is around $1399. Has anyone heard of G Max or used this kit or something similar from this place before? Reason I am asking is because I wan't to figure out what I am going to do for my brake set up and need EVERYTHING for the front brakes and back (don't have my rear end but need the master cylinder and all no matter what rear I even have. I don't know how much a kit from Wilwood would be but I am guess about 800 bucks more than that for the same thing with everything like that. Also there is no info on the power booster or master cylinder, so is this any good too?
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks.

Aren't you using a Ford rear end? If so, there are several guys who make an adapter for the Explorer rear brakes on a 9" rear. Here's a couple of photos. These are from Pete and Jakes.

I agree with tech, the front brakes are used most in normal driving, that's why they wear out faster.

The Ford Racing Performance Parts rear disc setup can be had for a mere 299 bucks from www.gefracing.com out of Georgia. Mine came to 340 with shipping and came with all the goodies to bolt up to an 8.8" explorer or nine inch rear end with large Torino type ends. It includes the emergency brake too.

Thanks guy's. I mostly need brake kit for the front right now. I don't even have my rear end. I need to find out what is the best rear end for this car first. I don't care what size it is since I will be narrowing it but right now I am worrying about the front end since there is TONS of work to do on it.
I will look for some sites with brakes on it then and do what you guy's said. I don't wan't to go shitty on brakes and the important stuff, especially running a big block since I think I am going that route. I am sick of having cheap stuff and having it break like on dirt bikes and other things I have. I know that is not like a hot rod, but I know that when you buy cheap things or the cheaper brand, etc you will end up spending MORE money and end up doing things over.

Ok I looked in MPbrakes.com and they don't have a brake kit for a 79 Camaro front end. Any other suggestions?

Lol, there are none besides the rotors. I was looking at calapers and for a couple hundred more bucks I can just buy a kit instead of EVERYTHING seperate. Only thing to the front is the rotors and that's it. I wish the orignals were then I would have just left it but with my luck there isn't.
