jeep question...yes ik it's not a hot rod
ok guys i need ur help, ik it's a jeep and ik this is a hot rod forum but i figured you guys would have some knowledge about jeeps
anyway..do jeep CJ's have the same frames as cherokees? as far as width, i want to mount a plow on my cherokee and i wana know if a plow frame from a cj will mount on it...easily

Cjs are a narrower frame than the Xj cherokees. As for mounting a CJ plow to a cherokee however, it can be done. Weld to extender brackets to the end of the current mounts on the plow. then, if you look on the inside front frame rails on the Xj, you will find "Accessory mount holes" drill your new brackets to fit, hold on with Carridge bolts(I reccomend something rust resistant) add a few locknuts and success. As for the hydraulics and pivots, your on your own for that one.Right engine, Wrong Wheels
