Without seeing your car in person I can't really say where to mount the speakers. I don't care for speakers in a box but you can do that. Or try and mount them under your seat near where your feet will be facing forward... Just make sure noone kicks them. With the box thing for the subs it woun't be made out of wood, it will be made out of fiber glass is what I am talking about but you make a wood box to lay the fiberglass resin and all on to give it the shape. That part is hard to explain how to do it in step by step process, it would take me a long time to type something up like that. Go around to other forums for sound systems or something and someone has got to have a link to a site that tells you how to make one step by step... Actually I have a truck mag that has one but not a ton of steps but enough to help get you on the right track and get the materials. Give me a day to find it and all and I'll get back to you. But yeah Kicker is great and they help you out tons... Also I think Kicker does have some kind of warrenty but not sure. They wont the auto sound grand prix award though and a few others like Innovations international CES design and engineering showcae honors award. You will get those JL guys out there saying how JL is better but ever person that told me that said they never owned Kicker but heard them once and didn't like em. So unless they heard all the Kicker systems, etc then they can't say nothing because I never seen JL win any awards here. For those Solo X subs you wan't you may wan't to call Kicker and tell them the car you have and what they think you should do because they have some recommended box volumes and they say those Solo X's are for highly specialized installations/applications. Call them and ask for the Technical Support team and ask them what to do for enclosures based on whichever sub you have and your car.
