    VDO fuel guage question

I am in the process of wiring my car, and I have a question...At the tank, the sending unit has 2 bolts on top where wires are secured with a nut and washer. One bolt is dead center, and the other is offset, to the side.

The EZ-Wiring manual, nor the VDO instructions specify what goes where. Is the center one positive, and the offset one negative or what? I just don't want to fry something or mess something up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Greg

The center nut (has a white washer under it,) is the wire to your gauge,The shorter one off to the side is a ground .

Randywrench- Thanks for the reply. My computer has been messed up the last few days, and I have not been able to respond. Thanks again for the answer!
