Question Droping my 48 truck with nova sub frame

I need to know whats the best way to drop my 48 chevy truck with a nova sub frame. Where do I get the drop spindels? Do I have to replace the shocks? I need the most cost effective suggestions. I am guessing I will have to cut the springs also. I wiould appreciate any help in the matter. Thanks.

I put a Nova clip under my 51 Ford and didn't have to use drop spindles or cut the springs. It sits just right.http://hotrodders.com/gallery/data/5...51ford.jpg?943

well what about the back? did you have to lower the back? This is new for me. I actualy just got the thing so I'm ancious about doing it right. I have another question you may help with. The guy that had it before me painted teh grill. Can I get that chromed? I'm in Charleston sc and have no idea wher to even start looking for that kind of work. The truck sits a little to high for me. Maybe I should try smaller tires? I know the look i'm after. I want the fender edge to be at almost the rim. What do ya think? Nice truck by the way!!! I also need to know how to make a head liner. I need to know what backing is used to wrap the material around. Thanks!

I did lower the back a couple of inches by moving the front spring perches up the frame a little. '

As for the headliner, I made a wooden frame cut to the shape of the roof and stretched vinyl over it.

Enclosing a picture of the frame just after the clip was welded in place.
