i am building a frame for a widened stretched t bucket and an using a rear steer box nova front sub frame. i am grafting the subframe rails directly to the frame rails of the frame. i am making the rear susp adjustable up to 6 inches to adjust ride height as i want to run optional tire heights in the back. i have mocked everthing up but with nothing to reference the loaded ride height of the unit i eyeballed the loaded x member height on 7 inches . i think i am close and if a little low i can alwas run a taller series front tire which will compensate .
i wouldnt chop up the 66 ford as they have a pretty good front susp setup to start with. crappy brakes though. i have been eyeballing convering the fronts to disk to add some stopping power to it.
