Mustang II IFS, 4-Link, tire and rim size
First let me warn that I have quite a few suspension questions.
Has anyone installed a Mustang II Ifs kit on their trucks and was it worth it? What brand would you prefer? What is the bolt circle?
Does anyone know where I may be able to get a 4-Link rear suspension for my 2wd 1979 F-100?
Is there an adapter to change by bolt circle from 5x5.5 to 5x5?
What is the widest rim I can fit in the back without having to tub the bed? I want to go with 31x12.5 Mickey Thompson Sportsmans on 15x12 Billet Specialties Vintec Dish rims (15x6 Vintecs up front with 26"-28" Sportsman tire up front, your suggestions please)

You were right, you do have a lot of questions. I haven't installed one on a '79 F100, but I have seen them on older F100s. You might contact rcmotorsports7@mindspring.com to see if they have a cross memeber. I think you'll like the options the Mustang IFS will give your project.Mutual respect is key to the fabric of our society. I’m a Ford guy.
