    Installing a corvette IRS

I just bought a 90 corvette rear end for my 49 chevy sedan. Has anyone ever done this or similar. I can use some help on how it can be done. Thanks!

First you will have to decide how you want to mount it, with a crossmember on the existing frame, or with an entire new rear section for the frame. I guess I'm not real familiar with the newer vette stuff. Does a '90 still have the transverse leaf or did chebby finally update it?? You will also have to determine if the width of the rear end assembly is ok, or if you will have to narrow it down to fit the car.
