69 camaro tire and wheel size

I have no idea if I'm doing this right! But, if anybody out there can help me it would be great. I'm waiting on delivery of a 69 RS camaro and I don't like the wheel and tire set up. I wan't rallye wheels and new bfg t/a. I want them to fit the wheel wells without rubbing, but, not to skinny either. Seems most on line have 7" fronts and 8" on rears. What size tires are the best fit and should an 8" also be used on the front or too wide? Thanks, Rob

Thanks for your reply, but, I am ready to order the wheels now and need to know what to order. I also want to have the tires on and ready when the car arrives because i"m sending the existing tires and wheels back to the seller.
