what are my options to drop 74 camaro?
Looking for 2-2.5" drop. Put some beefier tires on back as well.

A lot depends on your planned use of the car and your budget. Cheapest way would be to cut a coil off the front springs and use some lowering blocks on the leaf springs in the back. But those things would not help the handling of the car much. Another option is to replace the front spindles with "dropped spindles", and get some re-arced springs that lower the rear. Probably the best solution, depnding on use and budget is to shop for a complete suspension kit. The 2nd generation Camaros are very popular. There are a lot of handling kits made for them and most of them will lower the car. Do some Google searches on Pro Touring, Camaro Suspension kits and any other combination you think might answer your questions. One more option is to install and air bag type suspension that allows you to adjust the ride height at will.
