'37 Pontiac coupe-How to lower?
I have just purchased a '37 Pontiac coupe that is totally stock. It looks old and the paint is faded. The interior is good considering the year. The engine and transmission are all quite solid. I want to leave the car the way it looks except I want to lower the who car. It has 6x16in tires. I don't have to keep the 16 inch tires to get the look. It has front springs and rear leaf springs. I don't want to do any welding or cutting of the frame unless absolutely necessary. What would be my best approach to get the car down a few inches without drasticly changing the car. I like the look of taking an old car and not painting or updating it to the extreme.
